While the crème de la crème of the music industry made their way to the 55th Annual Grammy Award’s on February 10th, most of Hollywood’s elite were across the pond for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) annual awards ceremony. The BAFTAs are often viewed as second only to the Oscars in terms of importance to the film industry and the star-power at the ceremony has grown by leaps and bounds the past few years.

From a fashion standpoint, the BAFTAs have become a great lead-in to the Oscars. The weather often plays a part in what we see on the BAFTA red carpet, and this year’s freezing temperatures and snow were no different.  Nevertheless, the ladies braved the elements and look amazing and I managed to spot some immaculate TOM FORD tuxedos in the mix!

Our newest Superman, Henry Cavill, was spotted wearing a black TOM FORD tuxedo, white evening shirt, silk bowtie, silk pocket square and leather shoes. Clark Kent never looked so good!

Not to be outdone, everyone’s favorite zombie Nicholas Hoult also decided to up his game by wearing a black TOM FORD tuxedo with a peak lapel, white evening shirt, silk bowtie and black leather shoes.

Justin Timberlake stole the show at the 55th annual Grammy Award’s in more ways than one.  The singer returned to the Grammy stage after a four year absence and, joined by fellow artist Jay-Z, brought the house down with a show-stopping rendition of his new single “Suit & Tie”.  The performance had a definite retro vibe that was emphasized by the sepia-toned broadcast and the back-up band and dancers that hearkened back to the Big Band days of old.  “Suit & Tie” was followed with the premiere of “Pusher Love Girl,” the second song from his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience.

It was so good people have created gifs of the performance.

However, the fun didn’t stop there. JT followed up his Grammy performance with a concert at the Hollywood Palladium late Sunday night. The evening offered guests their first real taste of the full 20/20 Experience as a more casual JT entertained the sold-out crowd.

The best part of all of this (to me anyway)?

He looked incredibly suave decked out in head-to-toe TOM FORD.  You can not beat that.

Justin spent in the evening looking dapper in a black moire TOM FORD cocktail jacket, evening shirt, evening pants, silk bowtie, silk pocket square, onyx studs and cufflinks and black and white loafers. Jay-Z joined him in the TOM FORD love by wearing a black velvet TOM FORD cocktail jacket with a grosgrain lapel, evening pants, evening shirt, silk bowtie and evening shoes. If that wasn’t enough, even the backup singers, dancers and band wore TOM FORD tuxedos.

He mixed it up a bit for the gig at the  Hollywood Paladium and changed into a navy TOM FORD tuxedo with a satin peak lapel, evening shirt, open bowtie, white silk pocket square and black and white spectator loafers.

Clearly, there can be no The 20/20 Experience without TOM FORD.

And I love it.

While I am we are eagerly awaiting the first-ever TOM FORD Womenswear Collection full-scale runway show scheduled for February 18th in London (squeal!!!), let’s take a few minutes to appreciate the Fall/Winter 2013 Menswear Collection.

Presented in London on January 9th at the TOM FORD HQ offices, the menswear collection features a definite early 60’s vibe. The collection is defined by sophisticated yet slim lines and lots of checks. There is check on check and tweed on check and even more check. Add to that some gorgeous fair isle cashmere sweaters, stunning furs and textured tuxedo jackets and you have sheer TOM FORD perfection. Again.

If you happened to pay very close attention to the latest TOM FORD Beauty or World of TOM FORD videos (check them out in the sidebar if you haven’t watched them yet) that were released a few months ago you may have spotted the latest offering from the TOM FORD Beauty collection. The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it teasers looked something like this:

There is nothing sexier than a man in a well-tailored suit.

Justin Timberlake, a longtime fan of the TOM FORD brand, has returned to the music scene after a seven-year absence with a brand new single. Suit & Tie, which features fellow Tom Ford fan Jay-Z, hit the airwaves last week and the full album, The 20/20 Experience, is due to drop on March 19th.  The single is doing well and it was just announced that Justin will be performing at the 55th Grammy Award’s on February 10th.

What does this have to do with TOM FORD, you ask?  Well, in case you haven’t heard…

For my your viewing pleasure, Justin collaborated with the designer to create the “refined style” that will be part of the full 20/20 Experience. Ford worked closely with Justin and his team and the results are just plain mouth-watering.  As I said above, there is nothing sexier than a man in a well-tailored suit and all of the evening wear and suiting we’ll be seeing as a part of The 20/20 Experience (think videos, appearances and album artwork) is a result of the custom made-to-measure tailoring that the brand is famous for. In addition, TOM FORD also will provide all of the shirting, ties, shoes and accessories that will be a focal point of The 20/20 Experience. It’s a collaboration made in heaven. Even Mr. Ford agrees.

“I adore Justin,” said Ford. “He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honor to work with him throughout this entire creative process.”

The artwork for the first single, Suit & Tie, features a TOM FORD tuxedo with satin peak lapels, pique front shirt and oversized satin bowtie, a signature look of the TOM FORD Menswear collection.

The just-released Suit & Tie lyric video is full of TOM FORD goodness including Justin wearing a signature TOM FORD black three-piece peak lapel suit, a black peak lapel two-piece tuxedo, black leather loafers, black and white leather loafers, a gold tie bar, and black onyx and white gold cufflinks. Impeccable styling. Impeccable taste.

Ever since the first images from the TOM FORD Spring/Summer 2013 Womenswear Collection were released online there has been a lot of attention placed on the amazing footwear – in particular the incredible gladiator boots! Those were a favorite topic from day one and when Anne Hathaway wore a custom vegan pair to the New York City premiere of Les Misérables the attention was elevated to new heights.

Without a question, the gladiator boots are the stand-outs from the S/S 2013 footwear collection. No competition there. However, there are some other gorgeous choices that are sure to give you a shoegasm at first site. It’s unfortunate that they have been so overshadowed by the boots especially because they tend to be more wearable for the general public.
