It’s almost time, friends!

October seemed so far away when I first shared my excitement about the new Complete TOM FORD Beauty Collection a few months ago.  Well, now the month is fast approaching and new images of the collection have arrived to whet our appetites!

I am DYING over this packaging and the colors are just amazing…  and I want everything. Continue on for some images and additional insight into the development process from Tom Ford himself.

Usually when we see TOM FORD pieces featured in magazines the focus is on the clothing and with good reason.  You know if someone is wearing TOM FORD its bound to be a stunning editorial.  One thing that always bothers me though is the fact that TOM FORD shoes and accessories aren’t usually highlighted.  Sure, you see them here and there, but usually not in great numbers, and generally not all in the same editorial.  Being the accessory and shoe lover that I am that makes me sad. 🙁

Which is why I was thrilled when I saw this Harper’s Bazaar editorial by photographer Paola Kudacki and fashion editor Natasha Royt. Not only does Maryna Linchuk look amazing, she is wearing some to-die-for TOM FORD shoes and jewelry throughout the shoot.

Would you be surprised if I said I wanted everything?

My favorites are actually these two pieces:

1. The Scorpion Necklace.  Seeing that I am a Scorpio, I think this necklace and I are made for one another. Yes please!

2. The Scorpion Bracelet. I *think* that is what this is. Same reason as above!

3. I am cheating and adding a third. I love this snake necklace. This actually isn’t a part of the editorial, but rather a candid shot taken by Paola. LOVE.

I get really excited when I see someone a bit unexpected wearing Tom Ford.

We are all used to seeing his womenswear designs on the red carpet, in magazines and in various editorials.  First Lady Michelle Obama, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Gwyneth Paltrow and Mila Kunis are just a few of the gorgeous women who have been spotted wearing Ford in recent months.

But Lady Gaga?  This was a match I never considered.

Lady Gaga Wears Tom Ford for Tony Bennett 🙂

Gaga just finishing recording Rogers and Hart’s “The Lady Is A Tramp” with the legendary Tony Bennett for his upcoming Duets II album.  She was spotted in Manhattan on her way to the recording studio wearing one of the highlights of Ford’s F/W 2011 Collection – the Black Floral Chantilly Lace Evening Dress with Jet Detail.

When you add all those elements together (Gaga, Bennett, “The Lady Is A Tramp” and Ford) it somehow seems… perfect.

As expected, her styling was a bit different than what you’d normally see associated with a Tom Ford gown.  She paired the lace gown with super high platform boots and a leather vest and a striking blue wig.  100% Gaga.

It isn’t the last time we’ll be seeing her in TOM FORD either – she was also recently spotted wearing the Violet Floral Hand-Painted Satin Stitch Embroidery Evening Dress at ABC Studios.  Can’t wait to see how she styled that!

As a side note, Gaga seems to be quite smitten with Tony… check out this video birthday wish she recorded the same day!
