The November 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia features a radiant Janet Jackson wearing some particularly amazing pieces from the TOM FORD Fall/Winter 2011 Womenswear Collection.
The Emerald Green Applicqué Lace Cocktail Dress she models on the cover in particular is quite unique because—until now—I have only seen the violet and bronze versions of this dress. Though the bronze and violet are stunning in their own right, I think the emerald green lace Ms. Jackson is wearing here is even more striking. Then, of course, there are the other amazing pieces. Ms. Jackson also wore the Raspberry Backless Rouched Tulle Cocktail Dress, RubyVelvet Waist Cincher and Red Degradé Kidassia Fur jacket for the shoot. I don’t even know where to begin—that fur jacket leaves me speechless every time I see it. So let’s just look at the photos, shall we?
I think photographer Alan Gelati and stylist Sally Matthews did a great job highlighting the amazing detail on the clothing while also showcasing Ms. Jackson. Wouldn’t you agree?

I think my favorite part is that they didn’t edit out her imperfections or her beauty mark! She looks her age. Good for it… but her age none the les,s and that’s something so rare in the industry. Love this
